We are often asked “How can we help support the South Texas Blood & Tissue Center?” As a non-profit organization, STBTC benefits from charitable giving in a variety of forms. Community members and local businesses can get involved in a number of different ways.

Here are a few ideas on how you can get involved with the South Texas Blood & Tissue Center.

- Host a blood drive, marrow and/or tissue registration.
- Donate coupons or prizes for blood donor giveaways.
- If you’ve received blood, marrow, tissue, cord blood or know someone who has, share your story with us.
- Host an event that raises money for human leukocyte antigen (HLA) testing benefitting the Marrow Donor Program of Central & South Texas or the Texas Cord Blood Bank.
- Become a volunteer and help at blood drives, marrow and tissue registrations or at the STBTC campus.
- Make a monetary donation.
