South Texas Electric Co-op (STEC) won the Early Bird Special drawing for committing to host 4 or more blood drives in 2009. They also fulfilled the commitment of donating 50+ units of blood. STEC did not want to keep their winnings; instead they donated the $500 to the Food Bank of the Golden Crescent STBTC the $500 donation. It's a win-win-win!
