Proceeds to benefit the Texas Cord Blood Bank, a division of the South Texas Blood & Tissue Center. The TCBB a statewide resource for lifesaving cord blood to treat children and adults with cancers and other blood disorders.

The Red & White Ball is an annual event sponsored by the Blood & Tissue Center Foundation. The mission of the Blood & Tissue Center Foundation is to serve as an advocate to increase community awareness and to develop financial and other resources in support exclusively of the South Texas Blood & Tissue Center and its affiliates.
